Most Awesome Animal seen: 

B: Javelina (specifically a platoon of Javelina)

E: Baby dwarf goats (They were so funny.)

Favorite View: 

B: Summit from Mustang Trail (because it took so much work to climb up)

E: Sunsets behind mountains on Three Pines Campground 

G: Look out on hike at Madera Canyon

RV tips: 

B: Know how much power is at your site before you arrive. 

E: Save used milk and water gallons for drinking, toilet, washing, etc. You can’t have over estimate how important water (clean, potable water) is. 

G: Careful on your truck’s rear wheels because they wear down faster when towing. 

T: Bring space heaters for the cold morning. 

Most unexpected lesson learned: 

B: Leaky sewer hoses are not fun to discover. 

E: Though the RV shakes a lot in the wind, it will not blow over! Also, most places of interest over an hour away. (Tomas says, “Driving to Grandma and Grandpa’s house will be nothing now.”)

G: There are flowers in the desert that aren’t growing on cacti. 

T: Goats are cuter than I thought. 

Best Tour you took: 

B: Titan II Missile Tour - I got to launch the missile. 

E: Seminole State Park Fate Bell Tour - We had an awesome, knowledgable tour guide. Seeing pictographs that are between 2,500 - 4,000 years old. 

G: Kartchner Caverns Cave Tour - Because it was caverns 

T:  Joshua Tree Keys Ranch Tour - I learned a lot and it was pretty funny. (Ask me about the details.)

What I missed most from home (other than people):

B: Virtually unlimited hot water with good water pressure, specifically for showers. 

E: Showers! 

G: Ballet and choir 

T: Church and reliable internet

What I will miss most from life on the road with the RV:

B: Regular mountain hikes 

E: Time out in nature, and the starry night sky 

G: Voss Family 

T: Voss Family

What I WON’T Miss from life on the road I the RV: 

B: Lyla being in the middle of our feet and legs under our tiny card table that acts are our everything table. 

E: Searching for school items in the two milk crates I packed them into.

G: Having to turn the water pump on to flush. 

T: I WILL NOT MISS HIKES!
